INSIGHTS : DIVERSITY ALWAYS WINS
As event planners we have had the opportunity to produce Weddings for a variety of cultures, religions and sexual orientations. Wedding Planning creates an intimate relationship with our bride and grooms and their families which has provided insights on how families co-exist and how a relationship between a diverse couple is nurtured. Through this lens, we have had the incredible opportunity to listen and learn about the beauty of diverse cultures, the intimate traditions carried on for generations and most importantly help conservative immigrant parents accept their children’s choice to marry Gay, Lesbian, Black, Latino, Caucasian, Asian, Muslim, Hindu, Christian, Jewish, or Sikh. We are proud to be a small part of social change over the past 11 years, not only for our couples and their families — but also for their communities and ours.
Blue Lotus Insights Stands United for civil liberties for all those who live in our communities locally, across the country and the world. We believe that no matter your race, gender, sexual orientation, culture or religion everyone has the right to live without fear. We understand that societal change can also happen through unions between diverse couples — creating a lasting impact and fundamentally changing not only the family structure but the communities they belong to.
As Wedding Planners are we are proud to be a small part of the larger change our country needs and is moving towards. We are proponents for racial justice and social equality across cultures, backgrounds, religions and sexual orientation. We believe a diverse society based on inclusivity is the most successful approach.
